Cyber Intelligence 4U and InfraGard New Jersey Members Alliance Launch AI & OT Governance Training Program for Critical Infrastructure Defenders
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Self-paced Foundational Series available now; sector-specific tracks and live tabletop exercises roll out over the next 12 months
NEW JERSEY, November 5, 2026 — Cyber Intelligence 4U (CIU) and the InfraGard New Jersey Members Alliance (NJIMA) today announced the launch of the AI & OT Governance Training Program. The 12-month initiative prepares the people who run New Jersey's critical infrastructure to recognize, contain and report AI-enabled attacks on operational technology (OT): the industrial control systems behind the region's power, water, transportation, manufacturing, financial and telecommunications services.
Adversaries are using AI to speed up reconnaissance, craft convincing phishing and voice-cloning lures, and move laterally from corporate IT into plant-floor systems. Most security training, however, is built for IT environments. OT systems often run for decades, rely on protocols that were never designed to authenticate, and cannot be patched on an IT schedule. When they fail, the consequences are physical. Incidents such as Colonial Pipeline, the Oldsmar water treatment intrusion and the Clorox production shutdown show how a single compromised credential or help-desk call can halt critical operations.
“Every organization in critical infrastructure now runs OT that adversaries are actively probing, and AI is making those attacks faster and cheaper,” said Ariel Evans, Founder of Cyber Intelligence 4U. “Generic IT awareness training doesn't prepare an operator to spot a spoofed sensor reading or a cloned vendor's voice. This program was built for the people on the front line of New Jersey's infrastructure, sector by sector.”
“New Jersey’s infrastructure is interconnected, and an attack on one sector rarely stays there,” said Alexandra Tarabour, President, InfraGard New Jersey Members Alliance. “This program brings our members together across sectors to work through real scenarios, so the people defending a water utility, a hospital network and a rail line are learning from each other before an incident, not after.”
Program highlights
Foundational Series, available now: a self-paced online course of five modules (AI Literacy, OT/ICS Security, Threat Awareness, AI Governance, and Incident Reporting), each paired with a knowledge check.
Nine sector tracks: Financial Services, IT/Telecommunications, OT/ICS, Nuclear, Water & Wastewater, Transportation, Energy, Critical Manufacturing, and the Defense Industrial Base, released quarterly through 2027.
Live tabletop exercises: CIU-facilitated incident-response scenarios built from real incidents in each sector, plus cross-sector red-teaming and OT incident-response sessions.
Framework-aligned: content maps to NIST AI RMF, NIST CSF, IEC 62443 and sector regulations including NERC CIP.
Annual report: the program closes each year with an InfraGard AI Governance Report on findings and emerging threats.
Availability
The AI & OT Security Foundational Series is open for enrollment at https://www.cyberintelu.online/challenge-page/c98d03bb-de58-446f-8ace-6e9eda6ec153. NJIMA members pay $500 (25% off the $625 list price).
Sponsorship
Organizations can sponsor the program at three levels: $25,000 (Bronze), $50,000 (Silver) and $100,000 (Gold). Sponsorships fund training for InfraGard members (nationwide), include CIU course seats for the sponsor's own employees, and provide 12 months of recognition alongside CIU and the InfraGard New Jersey Members Alliance. About the InfraGard New Jersey Members Alliance
InfraGard is a unique partnership between the FBI and individuals in the private sector for the protection of U.S. critical infrastructure and the American people. As one of the nation’s largest public/private partnerships, InfraGard connects critical infrastructure owners, operators, and stakeholders with the FBI to provide education, networking, and information sharing on security threats and risks.
The InfraGard program is managed through a partnership between the FBI’s Office of Private Sector and INMA, an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which manages local IMAs. The IMAs are also incorporated as non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations and work with their respective FBI field offices to hold chapter meetings, host events, educate, and serve their communities. Each IMA has a board of directors to manage its activities and operations. Upon being accepted for membership, individual InfraGard members have the option to join their local IMA
